About Us
The Foundation
Seva at the Feet of Mahadev
The Sapneshwar Mahadev Mandir Foundation exists for one purpose — to care for the shrine of Sapneshwar Mahadev and to keep its doors open to every devotee.
The mandir stands at Sukhliya, on the MR 10 main road in Indore, a quiet open-air shrine surrounded by palms and flowering plants. At its centre is the Shivling, bathed continuously by the kalash hung above it, garlanded each morning with marigold and offered bel patra by the hands of devotees themselves.
The Foundation looks after the daily puja and the four aartis, the cleaning and upkeep of the premises, the arrangements for Mahashivratri and the Shravan Mondays, and the bhandara and community seva that the mandir undertakes through the year.
Everything here is sustained by the devotion of those who visit. There is no ticket, no queue and no distinction — Bholenath receives all who come.

A few simple requests, so that the shrine stays peaceful for everyone.
Footwear
Please remove footwear before stepping onto the marble platform of the sanctum.
Offerings
Water, milk, bel patra, dhatura and flowers are welcome. Kindly avoid plastic wrappers inside the premises.
Silence
Please keep phones silent during the aarti and allow fellow devotees an unhurried darshan.
Photography
Photography is permitted, but please do not use flash during puja or aarti.
Children
Children are most welcome. Kindly keep them accompanied near the water channel and the lamps.
Prasad
Prasad is distributed after each aarti. Please receive it with both hands and do not waste it.
